ship and offers some activities, pool and full buffet style meals
in the base rate. Upgrades in meals or for cabins are available. The
trip is approximately 5 hours as they intend to provide a cruise atmosphere
and not just transport.
There
should be a new service available in 2003 pending licensing and renovations
of a ship which will offer much faster service to Freeport, Grand
Bahama Island from Florida. We will provide the information when available.

All

fact most taxi drivers will quote you the fare to any given location
prior to departure should you request the amount. The government allows
buses to charge the full taxi rate when providing transportation from
airport and dock. Taxis and buses are standing and waiting for passengers
so there is no need to call for service.
Car
rentals are readily available in Freeport and most will provide
pick up service from airport or dock if they do not have an office
at the location. We recommend, Brad's 242-352-7930, KSR 242-351-5737
